The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. In the skies over great Britain in 2014 we had the great privilege to see two Avro Lancasters flying together. Our very own battle of Britain memorial flight lanc Thumper flew in formation with the Canadian warplane heritage museums lanc Vera. A sight I will never forget.
