The Memphis Belle nose art was painted on the british owned B-17 ( Sally B ) for the 1990 Hollywood feature film, Memphis Belle.
She was the first B-17 of the United States Army Air Forces heavy bombers to complete 25 combat missions with her crew intact. The aircraft and crew then returned to the United States.
